Founder Story
The founder, Tam Nguyen, immigrated to the U.S. with his family in early 2005, when he was 18. He immediately started working for his uncle's Machine Shop as an Operator and worked his way up to become a CNC Programmer. In 2011, he graduated with his Mechanical Engineering degree and founded Alva Manufacturing with 3 people and 3 CNC machines. Mr. Nguyen named the company after Thomas Alva Edison with the vision of becoming a manufacturer with an engineering and innovation culture. Today, Alva has more than 40 CNC Machines and 65 Employees, acquiring the most advanced technologies. What contributed to Alva's success is its willingness to listen to the customer's needs and its employees' total commitment to performing their best to serv the customers consistently.
